Join us for a night of poetry and fiction with cocktails created by the Whisky Thief! 

Emma Bolden is celebrating the release of "House is an Enigma," which won the Cowles Poetry Prize and was published this fall by Southeast Missouri State University Press. She is the author of two previous books, "Malificae" and "medi(t)ations," and seveal chapbooks. Her poetry, fiction, and essays have appeared in Colorado Review, Beloit Poetry Journal, Salamander, National Poetry Review, Nimrod, Triquarterly, Fairy Tale Review, Praire Schooner, Cimarron Review, StoryQuarterly, Bellingham Review, DIAGRAM, Monkeybicycle, and Gulf Coast among other venues. Emma received a 2017 Creative Writing Fellowship in Poetry from the National Endowment of the Arts.

Kristen Iskandrian is the author of MOTHEREST (Twelve, 2017). Her short stories have been published in The Best American Short Stories (2018, edited by Roxane Gay), The O. Henry Prize Stories (2014), Tin House, Ploughshares, ZYZZYVA, McSweeney’s Quarterly Concern, and many other places. She was a 2018 Bread Loaf fellow. Born and raised in the Philadelphia area, she lives in Birmingham with her husband and two daughters.

Sabrina Orah Mark has received fellowships from the Fine Arts Work Center in Provincetown, the Glenn Schaeffer Foundation, and The National Endowment for the Arts. She is the author of WILD MILK (Dorothy, a publishing project, 2018) as well as the poetry collections TSIM TSUM and THE BABIES, both from Saturnalia Books. Her poetry has appeared in many journals and in the anthologies, Legitimate Dangers: American Poets of the New Century and The Best American Poetry 2007.
